friendship!

best friends!

I want to know someone who is funny. I love to laugh and enjoy myself. when I laugh I have a big smile smacked across my mouth. I intend to keep you by my side every time I'm feeling down. Be that person and I'll always be around.

I want to know someone who is open, friendly and not shy someone like me. A person who is open makes more friends. They make conversations that are interesting to hear. We can talk all day long and have some fun. When we become more open to each other we learn to build trust. Do not hide in your shell, come out, be my friend and I'll take you under my spell.

I want to know someone who stands up for them self. Someone who faces their fears in life. I don't want to be around a person who backs down on things they know are challenging. You have to know your strongest and weakest links. As life goes on, sooner or later you'll face that fear. Keep it challenging and you'll find me as your pair.

I want someone who has respect. Respect for them self and for other people. In order to get respect you got to give. A lot of people will treat you fair and right. No matter what color or ethnicity. treat a person how you want to be treated. Criticism can fire back in any way. Be respectful and everything will be okay.

A certain person can make a beautiful friendship. You have to have what it takes to build a trusting chain of friendship. You can be a person who is really different from me, but all it takes is to be who you are. Don't change yourself to be who your not. Honesty and trust is all that matters. Be a person who talks and acts from the heart. Build our friendship and it'll never fall apart.

Inhale-Exhale

My first day in Saipan southern high made feel run different kinds of emotions. I felt happy for graduating middle school and for reaching this far. I felt excited to see how my first day would turn out. I felt nervous to introduce myself around new people and some familiar faces. I felt scared to step in and be a whole new person. That day made me feel things I haven’t felt in a long time. My emotions were mixed up; it was like every hour it changed.

When you step in to the school, a lot of students are just passing by like no one’s business. The hallways are always traffic every single time the bell rings. You will be bumping into people every step you make, unless you make them push you around. Watch your way and always stand up for yourself. It will seem like a busy street. You will feel lost at times but, you’ll get use to it.

Our hallways are long and the buildings seem far apart. So when you are walking to get to class, make it fast because your chances are: being on time and not looking like a fool when you’re late. Detentions for being tardy on first days are not always excusable. Warning and chances are not really given here. Your first tardy can equal to 3 days detention. Never be late, only if you have the best excuse for it.

On your first day you might be shy to walk to walk around the campus but, feel free to roam around. You can feel lonely at times but, along the road you’ll find a partner. Families and friends are just around the corner so bother to stop by and show some love. Being open and friendly will help a lot. You will meet people you didn’t know even existed.

During your first week of school, you might feel exhausted and happy at the same time. You will be exhausted from having to roam around school to get to know it better. You will be happy for actually getting all the puzzles together. Now all your emotions are cooling and you are just feeling like your old self again.

You are now settled and comfortable. You got your friends at your side, and you have a spot in the field where it’s fresh and windy. Since you are well settled into SSHS, feel the love and pursue your goals. Don’t be afraid to be who you are. Learn what you want to learn and become part of our manta ray clan. Un eskuela un korason, one school one heart.

something harmful and interesting to know about!

Hi and hello....
so far I have learn many things in my language arts class that caught my attention! There is this thing called a crohn's disease. I have never heard of it before so I though of getting to know more about it. And I also want you readers to be aware! It is a disease that swells up your intestine. It causes redness and loss of normal function.

This disease is caused by the immune system attacking itself instead of protecting it from bacterias. This attracts my attention because our immune system is supposed to take in food and other yummy things but, this disease is freaky. Now it's either we watch what we eat or get sick with a crohn's disease. Crohn’s disease may be diagnosed at any age, although most diagnoses are made between the ages of 15–35.Crohn's disease is a chronic disorder.

While the symptoms can be improved, a patient will not be completely cured of the underlying disease. I hope i said enough for my readers to understand. This is not a common disease in the CNMI so be cautious of a disease that can harm you! If you want to know more, here is the link to crohn’s disease where you can get more information’s www.wikianswers.com

Darkness Falls

The power outages affect families because after work they want to go home and rest. Instead when they go home they have to wait for the power to turn on to cook dinner and shower. On the other hand it delays them from doing their chores in and out of the house. The children on the other side are affected too, because homework is being delayed due to the power outage. We have the right to complain because we are paying the CUC bill with the money we are earning. It is not easy, it is like my family is working to only pay for the bills. We don't deserve to live in the dark if we are paying for our part.

The power outages is not the only thing affecting my family, The Economy takes part of our sufferings. The economy is raising all living expense while salary remains the same. Families are only working for gas and power money. Besides from gas power and food they are taking away all their pleasures such as picnics and vacations. They cannot afford to be spending money on Items that are not essential to everyday lifestyle. Most families are leaving the island to improve the life style. Economy affects our lifestyle not only on living expense but, also on the coming year's. I hope the years to come will improve a better economy.

There are times when I would come home feeling very tired but, can't rest because the power is off and there is no air. I would get very frustrated and annoyed. Sometimes we are not prepared for it, when it does happen without us being informed, we intend to sit in the dark with no candles and just stare into space. It takes up all of our time! We got things to do but, we can't do it any more, because we are being delayed due to power outages.

The Economy scares me! It makes my amount of allowance low. When my parents paychecks come out, they have to pay other things. Gas prices are running high and it affects us badly. We can't go strolling around anymore when we feel like it, Now we have to safe gas for places that are really important to go to. The gas price is not even worth paying for, if you fill up your car half a gallon, you have to drive around wisely. That's how my family work their way through this recession.

During this time of year a lot of people are suffering. Even those people with big business investments are suffering in this island. It may seem like they got everything covered because they got a lot of money, but it is even hard for them. They got taxes and a lot of other things to pay for. So I guess, we are just about the same.

We may suffer this much but, we can strive all together for the best!
